The Big Road is the primary scorecard that records each hand result—Player, Banker, or Tie—in a grid pattern. It forms the foundation from which all other derived roads are calculated, helping you spot streaks and chops.

Squeeze Baccarat is a variant where the dealer slowly peels back card edges before revealing values. This builds suspense and mimics the ritual found in high-roller rooms. The actual rules and payouts remain identical to standard baccarat.

A Natural occurs when either the Player or Banker hand totals eight or nine on the first two cards. When a Natural is dealt, no third card is drawn for either side, and the hand concludes immediately with the higher total winning.

Banker bets typically pay 0.95:1 because the house deducts a five-percent commission on winning Banker wagers. This commission exists because the Banker hand has a slight statistical edge due to third-card drawing rules favouring it.

The Cockroach Road is a derived road that compares results three columns back on the Big Road. It produces red and blue marks indicating pattern consistency or breaks, giving experienced players another layer of trend analysis.

A Tie bet wins when both Player and Banker hands finish with identical totals. It usually pays 8:1, but the actual house edge on ties is significantly higher than on Player or Banker bets, making it a higher-risk selection.

A Shoe is the dealing device holding multiple decks—typically six or eight—shuffled together. One shoe produces many hands before a re-shuffle. Scorecards in Baccarat Circle reset at the start of each new shoe.

The Third Card Rule is a fixed set of conditions determining whether the Player or Banker draws an additional card. Neither the player nor the dealer makes discretionary decisions—the rules are automatic and printed on every table.

A Pair bet wins if the first two cards dealt to either Player or Banker form a matching pair—for example, two sevens. It pays 11:1 in most Baccarat Circle rooms and is resolved independently of the main hand outcome.

Speed Baccarat follows the same rules as standard baccarat but compresses each round by dealing all cards face-up immediately without a squeeze. Rounds last roughly twenty-five seconds, resulting in more hands per hour for faster sessions.
